Hello November - it's almost N.C. time!

Yes I'm the bad one in the family about blogging I'm saving to say it as my New Year's Resolution to be a better blogger. Kelly and I have had so much fun with Trent and Carter during October. I missed the State Fair last year because of going to Manila and we had a blast this year. The food was wonderful and yes we did have fried butter, Fletcher's corny dogs,,carmel apple, cotton candy, nachos, wonderful fresh lemonade, fried pecan pie and I stole some of Alison's funnel cake. Kelly said he passed up the fried bacon they had last year, he said he could just feel his heart completely stop but boy was it good at the time. Here are some pictures when Kelly and I took Trent and Carter to play at the mall and had lunch at the mall. We had a really great time.

I enjoy my phone conversations with Braden he's so entertaining and now they have webcast I hope to be seeing and talking at the same time. Teagan is a little chatter box like her mommy so I hear her giving her opinions all the time (just like her mommy).

Trent started football and now today has moved onto basketball at the YMCA. Carter is crawling and loves it when you take his hands and walks with him so it shouldn't be too long.

I really enjoy Halloween and I found the cutest little pumpkin cups with straws that I gave to all grandchildren but Carter (sorry Carter) he's not quite there yet plus candy of course. Costumes all around were adorable for all grandchildren as you can see and I even had a couple of trick or treaters (batman and spiderman) came to my door.
We all are so anxious for Thanksgiving this year because of seeing Adrianne,Nigel,Braden and Teagan. Kelly and I are taking on a roadtrip - I hope we survive and Alison,David,Trent and Carter are flying. Steve and almost all of his family are driving from Maryland for Thanksgiving. So I am very excited to be with almost all of my family this year - what a year it has been. I am so happy to be able to be with everyone!

Over a Month went by - WHERE DID IT GO?

I don't know where the time goes but it sure does fly. My trip to visit Adrianne, Nigel, Braden and Teagan was the best time and I honestly hated to leave. It is the hardest thing in life to not be able to see my oldest daughter and her family more often. I feel I miss out on so much with the kids so my time with them I tried to maximize the time as much as I could with them within those 10 days. Listening to Braden and Teagan talking and playing in the mornings before all were awake was one of the highlites of my trip. They are so much fun to watch when they play and oh yes and occassionally argue with each other over a toy but these are such precious memories. Adrianne did such a fantastic job in planning Teagan's 1st birthday party when I first arrived and of course Teagan was the best little birthday Princess there could be. I also joined in when Adrianne did Teagan's One Year Old Pictures - Great Fun - Bugs - Slides - Tantum - Sleep.....LOL The trip went by so quickly and coming back home to reality was hard but I really missed Kelly and we
got back into our routine.

My brother had driven from Maryland to visit and it was so good seeing him the last weekend. We had lunch at Nigel's restaurant and then we hung out at the swimming pool and of course had to have a nap and then went to a seafood restaurant that night. It was a great ending to a great visit.

Labor day Kelly and I spent some time with Trent and Carter which is always wonderful FUN.
Trent's "3 year old Birthday" was yesterday Sept 12th and it was wonderful. So many friends and family showed up for the party and the rain behaved itself since the party was outside. Alison did a fantastic job in getting the party organized. I must say both of my daughters have a fantastic quality in giving great parties. I am so proud of my daughters they work full time jobs and full time positions as great MOTHERS also! Keep up the fantastic jobs that you are doing. I love you both very much and are so very proud.
Happy 3rd Birthday Trent!

LOL - LOTS OF LOVE

We had the pleasure of having Trent and Carter keeping us company and spending the night last Friday Night. They were just the best. Here is Carter with his beautiful smile.

Trent sometimes being shy around the camera was showing off his blanket.

Carter is showing his love by touching your face. Trent was giving Carter a kiss and Carter was thanking him. It was very precious.

Grandpa Kelly was within reach of a love touch also!

Beautiful Boys - Wonderful Times!
Last but not least - Our TAZ - having a little bit of Tuna Treat - Gotta love it!

A week with Trent and Carter

Alison went on a business trip and it was sheer fun this week for me to spend so much time with "The Boys" .

Monday - I picked up Alison on Monday and we had a great Pre-Birthday breakfast at Denny's for Alison, after dropping her off for her ride to the airport the boys and I headed over to our house and Kelly and I had a wonderful day of playing, napping and eating until David picked them up.

Tuesday - Happy Birthday "Alison" . I spent the night at Alison and David's house and I just don't know how Alison and Adrianne take care of their children a lot of the evenings by themselves "Kudos to both of my Daughters" because I was exhausted after working all day, doing dinner, play time, baths, and finally bedtime - and I was ready for BED!

Friday - David brought Carter and Trent over to our house while he went into work. Kelly entertained the kids and I picked up "McDonald's" for dinner, the night went by very quickly and Carter and I had a very serious talk about his sleeping habits for his Mommy and Daddy. Carter did wake up at 100AM and so we decided to let him try to cry it out and Carter decided to go back to sleep and didn't wake up until around 700AM - so about 10 hours was very exciting. I hope it keeps it up because it's been hit or miss lately with his sleeping habits. Also around the 100AM time our electricity in our whole neighborhood went out so we waited for about an hour for it to come back on. I checked in on Trent and he was sleeping on the floor part of the night and then decided to crawl back into bed. When I asked him about sleeping on the floor he just said he wanted to sleep on the floor - a man who knows what he wants - I'm impressed!
Saturday - Trent and I went to the park to find more sticks for his stick pile and then we played in the front yard making bubbles as you can see below.

And Yes Carter can suck on his toes!

Sooooooo now I can't wait until August to see Braden and Teagan. I'm so blessed to have such wonderful daughters, son-in laws and grandchildren. Truly Awesome.

May - June Oh My!

Busy Times - Busy Children and Busy Grandchildren

Memorial Weekend - Kelly and I enjoyed being with Trent and Carter while Alison and David had a little getaway trip. Trent is such a big boy and very curious as all 2 year olds are. Carter, as Alison found out from the Doctor's appointment, I did not break Carter. I had some pictures but my camera is holding them hostage and until I figure out to break them loose will have to wait for another posting.

June 6th Concert Day - Kelly and I purchased tickets about 3 months ago to go to the George Strait and Reba McIntyre Concert at the New Texas Stadium in Arlington. It was an unbelievable experience neither of of us will ever forget.

June 12th Adrianne and Teagan's Arrival - This weekend was like a blur but I was in heaven. Went to pick up "the girls" at the airport, Alison met us for lunch at "Snuffers" because they don't have that in SC. Saturday night Kelly and I were blessed with 3 grandchildren (and yes Braden was missed by all). I determined I didn't think I needed a bigger house until we had 3 grandchildren altogether. 3 feedings, 3 baths and then 3 falling asleep then it was quiet and Taz ventured out of her hiding place and I settled in bed for a good nights sleep. Woke up early and took "the girls" out to the airport and Carter and I had some donuts before everyone else woke up. I enjoyed he watched! I loved seeing Teagan so much - I can verify GIRLS are definitely different behaving than the Boys! She is absolutely unbelievable and wish we could see more of her and Braden .

June 26 - 27 - 28 - This weekend has been great first it was Kelly's birthday and then our First Anniversary(can you believe) and then my birthday. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family. I was so excited to display all the cards around the TV it gave me such a warm and fuzzy feeling . Alison took this picture before we actually went out on a great Saturday Date to the Transformers Movie and Salt Grass Steakhouse Perfect Date Night.

Mother's Day and More!

"Beware Ducks and Swans are not always friendly
The weekend before Mother's day Adrianne, Nigel, Braden and Teagan were in town for Nigel's brothers wedding. That weekend went by much too quickly. Kelly and I were so excited to have Braden and Teagan spend Saturday night with us. The above picture is me and Braden at the park. Below is Teagan and I, she is wonderful. They are both growing up so quickly. I was blown away at the airport how Braden came running into my arms.
I had such a wonderful Mother's Day! I am so blessed to have such two wonderful daughters and 4 amazing Grandchildren! On Mother's Day Alison and I went to lunch and were joined by Carter. We had a great lunch at "Snuffers" and oh Adrianne it was good too! We then went shopping and had a good time.
This past weekend Alison and I joined in on a 3 family garage sale. I loved being with Carter and Trent when Alison and I were getting our items ready for the sale. Alison did pretty good at the sale I made a whopping $8.00 which I'm not sure where to spend it and if I should spend all at the same time or save some. The rain did not help on Saturday so probably in a couple of weeks we'll try again.

HAPPY EASTER!

One week down and two weeks to go. I'm so jealous and happy that Kelly had lunch with Alison and the boys. It was a big adventure for Alison venturing out by herself with both boys - Congratulations Alison I heard all went very well! I'm missing my morning talks with Adrianne - my mornings are just not the same - not to mention I'm not sure what is morning and what is evening at this point in my schedule.

Happy Easter to all and can't wait to come home and then
Adrianne's visit will be just around the corner.
Love and Miss all of you!
